Marion Paquette presents Corps Commun at Ventana Project Madrid, connecting 30 elements crafted from upcycled boat sails into a site-specific structure that spans the entire exhibition space. The project is accompanied by nine pastel drawings presented in mycelium frames.

The installation explores the interdependence between individuals and their environment, drawing inspiration from mycelium—the underground fungal network essential to ecosystem cohesion. Acting as a messenger between distinct environments through the exchange of resources and information, mycelium embodies a collaborative, holistic, and interconnected vision of ecology.

Designed as a participatory social constellation, Corps Commun invites the public to explore interconnection through a collective structure that decentralizes individuality, encouraging reflection on the mutual influences that exist between humans and their environment. By integrating mycelium as both material and metaphor, alongside drawings inspired by the rhizome, the installation makes visible the invisible yet fundamental networks that sustain balance. Therefore the installation frames these bonds as possible models of coexistence rooted in cooperation, adaptability, and mutual support.
